CCC Dinghy Section

The CCC Dinghy Section has been based at Bardowie Loch near Milngavie for 80 years. The site and the club have changed a great deal since then but the aims of the club are still the same; to provide members with the opportunity to dinghy sail, to learn to sail and to race. The club has a fleet of dinghies for use by members and a new club house opened in 2004 that provides a warm and comfortable shore base. Bardowie has a well deserved reputation as a family friendly club: RYA evening classes are available to children and adults covering beginners through to budding racers during the weekday evenings. In the summer holidays the club runs a very successful summer school. Throughout the season there are activities such as open days, club regattas and class regattas.
