Chop Tap: Lumberjack Game

Chop Tap is a fast lumberjack arcade game made for your Wear OS watch. One tall tree, one lumberjack with an axe, and branches that keep coming down towards his head.

HOW YOU PLAY

- Tap the left half of the screen to chop from the left, the right half to chop from the right.

- After every chop the tree drops one step. Keep the lowest two branches away from your side: a branch hit ends the run.

- Every branch comes with a gap, so there is always a safe side. Reading it fast is the whole game.

SCORE AND COMBO

Every safe chop scores 10 points and puts a little time back on the clock. Every 20 chops raises your combo, up to x4, so a long clean run is worth far more than a short one.

THE CLOCK

A run starts with 7 seconds and the clock never holds more than 10. Each chop adds time, a little less as the run grows. A run ends when you hit a branch, when the clock runs out, or after 60 seconds of play.

THREE LEVELS

Easy, Medium and Hard. Harder levels give back less time per chop and let you chop faster.

YOUR RECORDS

Your top 20 scores are kept on the watch, with a separate list for each level. Beat your best and the lumberjack lifts the trophy.

PAUSE ANY TIME

Tap the top panel or the pause icon, or press Back. If you leave the game, the unfinished run is waiting for you when you come back.

SOUND AND HAPTICS

Sound starts at 25% and has five levels, 10% to 100%, or off. Haptics switch on or off on their own. The game never changes your watch's media volume.

FULLY OFFLINE

No ads, nothing to buy, no account and no internet connection. The game runs entirely on your watch.

COMPATIBILITY

Needs Wear OS 3 or newer. Made for round watches such as Samsung Galaxy Watch and Google Pixel Watch. The game's labels are in English.

INSTALL

Pick your watch in the install menu on Google Play, or open the Play Store on the watch itself. Chop Tap then appears in your Wear OS app list.
