CineCap

CineCap is a video maker for creating personal videos from footage you have recorded. Use video editing to explore a subject, develop a visual idea, and give a recording a point of view of its own.

LOOK A LITTLE CLOSER

A video idea can begin with a detail: the movement of people through a busy street, the way a place changes in the evening, or the concentration behind an activity. You may already have recorded something worth exploring. Start with what catches your attention and decide what you want the video to reveal.

GIVE YOUR SUBJECT A DIRECTION

A broad subject becomes easier to work with when you choose an angle. A travel video might be about one neighborhood. A recording of a hobby might be about the patience it takes. An outdoor video might focus on the atmosphere of a particular place. The subject stays yours, and so does the way you present it.

Ideas to explore with your own footage:

• A closer look at a place you know.

• The character of a street, garden, or outdoor setting.

• A visual study of an activity you enjoy.

• A personal view of an event you attended.

• A video built around a recurring detail or theme.

CREATE WITH INTENTION

Think about what interests you in the recording and what makes it worth returning to. A useful creative question is what you want someone to notice. Let that guide your video editing, whether the result is meant for someone else or simply for your own satisfaction.

CineCap gives you a place to work on video ideas and develop them through your own choices. Bring your curiosity, use the footage you have, and make something that reflects how you see it.

There is more than one way to look at a familiar subject. Explore yours with CineCap.
