ClimaCE

The ClimaCE Application discloses concepts related to the climate of Ceará. For this, the application informs the main characteristics related to the semi-arid climate, typical of the interior of the state and indicates the name of the main meteorological systems operating in Ceará during the Pre-season, Rainy and Post-rainy season, as well as delimiting time duration of each of those periods. In addition, the application deals with the influence that the phenomena El Niño and La niña, that occur in the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic dipole, exert on the precipitations of Ceará. The application is aimed at high school students and other people interested in learning more about Climatology in the state of Ceará. It also includes a quiz, with ten questions related to the subject.
