Core Extraction

Virtual laboratory work on petrophysics - "Core extraction".

The purpose of the application is to acquaint the student with the process of extracting core samples of oil and gas wells, teach to determine the dry weight of the rock.

The application simulates the operation of a Soxhlet extractor, an oven, scales. The program has a built-in instructional manual and it is convenient to use it as a visual teaching aid

The application allows you to check the result of measurements made by the student.

The control of knowledge of the theory remains with the teacher.
