- Maya is cyborg mom. She is chasing the bad guy who stole her son Nova's energy core, leaving him in a critical state.

- The energy core is what helps the child survive after the early activation incident in the laboratory. Without it to charge energy, the child will die. However, the energy core is also what helps bad guys launch weapons that destroy the universe.

- To reclaim the energy core, the mother needs to run into different universes, where the boss is hiding with the energy core
