Dead Pixels Test and Fix

Bought a new smartphone or want to check on the old smartphone matrix display? In this program you can test your LCD screen for dead or stuck pixels and try the color-cycling mode for stuck pixels.

Defective pixels - are pixels on a liquid crystal display (LCD) that are not performing as expected.

If you detect stuck pixels, you can try the color-cycling mode. Results depend on the display and the cause of the defect; improvement is not guaranteed.

Phantoms are traces of a static image on the screen. Temporary image retention and permanent burn-in are different; the app cannot repair permanent burn-in.

A stuck pixel remains one color, while a dead pixel no longer works. Sometimes they are almost invisible, and you can be the owner of them without even noticing it. This app uses color changes on the screen. Do not press or strike the screen, as this can damage it.

The program works on all screen resolutions, and is suitable for both phone and tablet with a high resolution.

Use the test screens to look for stuck sub-pixels, dark or bright dots, and image retention. Physically damaged or completely dead pixels cannot be restored by this app.

If the defect persists, contact a service center. The app does not replace display diagnosis or repair.

Warning: the color-cycling mode contains flashing images. Do not use it if you are sensitive to flashing light, and stop if you feel discomfort.
