About Do Nothing
A focus timer where leaving the app resets your progress.
Do Nothing is a minimal focus challenge that helps you stay present by doing the simplest thing: nothing.
Pick a session length (1, 2, 5, or 10 minutes) and press Start. Your goal is to remain in the app and resist distractions until the timer ends. If you leave the app, switch tasks, or turn off the screen, the session fails and your progress resets—because focus is the whole point.
When you succeed, you’ll get a celebratory finish screen, your stats will improve, and you’ll move closer to the next level. Do Nothing tracks your progress over time with clear, motivating feedback:
- Levels that increase every 5 successful sessions, with a progress bar showing how close you are to leveling up
- Daily Goal progress (Today: X / Y), plus a daily streak for completing your goal on consecutive days
- Total sessions, current streak, and best streak
- Session history with date, duration, and result (success or fail)
- Achievements with icons, unlock dates, and descriptions (including timer-based wins and level milestones)
You can also tailor the experience in Settings:
- Enable/disable sound
- Enable/disable haptics
- Choose your default session duration
- Set your daily goal
Do Nothing is designed to be calm, clean, and satisfying—big timer, clear progress, and just enough reward to keep you coming back.
