Post cyclone FANI in Odisha, UNICEF is closely working with key Government Departments to ensure continuation of service delivery in the most affected districts particularly for children, women and most marginalized. More specifically, UNICEF has supported and participated actively in the Government led Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) to highlight the recovery needs and changing vulnerabilities of girls, boys and women. UNICEF is also ensuring provisioning of emergency response through line departments to addresses humanitarian needs in child protection, education, health, nutrition and WASH.

In addition, UNICEF is closely working with CSOs in the state particularly with IAG on evidence generations, coordination and awareness generations in selected districts. In partnership with selected NGOs, UNICEF is also supporting with lifesaving supplies and services including creating child friendly spaces and provisioning psycho-social counselling in the most affected districts. In line with UNICEF’s Core Commitment for Children (CCC) guidelines and to meet the common accountability agenda during the response phase, this monitoring platform is developed to capture the data on UNICEF supported supplies and services as well as a few service delivery indicators for children.

Features

• Offline Tool: Enables users to collect data from remote locations and to sync them later once they are back in coverage

• Save, Finalize & Sync: Users can save incomplete forms and can later fill them up once content is available. Once completed forms will have to be finalized and then Synced in order to connect it to the server.

• Partner Specific Checklists: Each partner will have their own predefined user credentials to access the application. All the data entry checklists will be mapped to specific partners.

• Upload Documents: Users can upload images & other documents as per the requirement specified in each checklist.

• Geotag: Users will have the functionality to geotag any specific location that are to be mentioned as per the checklists.
