Sheikh Fares Abbad فارس عباد was born in Yemen in the capital, Sana'a, in 1980.

Sheikh Fares Abbad فارس عباد is considered one of the finest reciters of the Holy Qur’an in the contemporary time as well as being a co-imam at the Ali Bin Abi Talib Mosque in the Doha region in the east of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where his melodious voice has become a great link to the Al-Majd satellite channel for the Holy Qur’an, for which he is currently working.

Sheikh Fares Abbad فارس عباد interest in the Noble Qur’an appeared from his early childhood, so he memorized the Qur’an and sealed it while he frequented the memorization schools in a number of mosques in Sana’a. He graduated from the typical memorization circles that opened at Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque, where he mixed with senior sheikhs, so Sheikh Fares Abbad فارس عباد learned from their knowledge and took from them the rules and principles of reading the Qur’an. The cream of them Sheikh Fadl Murad. The Sheikh was also influenced by the well-known reciters, especially the two Sheikhs Abdul Basit Abdul Samad and Muhammad Al Muhaisni.

Sheikh Fares Abbad فارس عباد spent a few years in Saudi Arabia before moving two years later to live in the Emirate of Ajman in the United Arab Emirates.

Sheikh Fares Abbad فارس عباد is currently working as a reciter for Al-Majd satellite channel for the Holy Qur’an. Fares Abbad فارس عباد conducted his first television interview in May of the year 2011 within the “Quran” program broadcast by the UAE channel Sharjah.
