To honour our soldiers who fought for our country and who still continue to fight on our country's borders to safeguard the country's honour, we observe 7h December, as the Armed Forces Flag Day throughout the country since 1949.Soldiers guard our nation and protect our citizens sacrificing lot of things including their lives; it is not only the soldiers, the families of these soldiers also form an integral part of this great sacrifice. We as common citizens are forever indebted to these heroes. To provide support and rehabilitation to these heroes and their dependents, it is the collective duty of every citizen of our country to make voluntary contribution to this Flag Day fund.To facilitate easy contribution by the citizens by online payment mode, a dedicated Tamil Nadu Government website has been provided under the link https://flagday.tn.gov.in
