FlipSilent

Flip silent is a simple absolutely free (no ads) utility to turn the ringer mode to silent or vibrate (available in settings) by turning the phone face down. It works as service so you don't have to worry about turning the application on. Auto start option is also available so that you don't have to run service every time you reboot you device.

Note: Orientation sensor does not work when screen is off. So, phone will not turn silent if its screen is off and turned face down but will turn silent as soon as it receives an incoming call or screen turns on.
