FloatPicTxt

FloatPicTxt is a full-featured floating image and teleprompter tool for recording, presentations, live streaming, online teaching, tutorials, reading notes, design reference, and multitasking. Keep visual references and scripts available above the app you are using.

IMAGE OVERLAY MODE

Share a single image from another app to FloatPicTxt and turn it into a floating image overlay. You can also choose an image in the app, then tap Start Overlay.

• Drag with one finger to move the image.

• Use Two-finger gestures with either “Scale and move only” or “Scale, move, and rotate.”

• Pinch to resize and twist two fingers to rotate; resizing keeps your current rotation angle.

• Adjust Opacity from transparent to fully solid.

• Use the angle dial to set the orientation, or enter a Manual angle.

• Quickly use Reset, Left 90°, and Right 90°.

• Images rotate around their own visual center.

• Turn on Follow device rotation when the overlay should respond to device orientation.

• Some animated GIFs are supported. Tap an animated GIF to Pause or Resume playback; playback continues from the paused position. Static images are not affected.

• Lock the overlay, or enable Pass through after locking to control the app underneath. Android may limit pass-through overlays to about 79% opacity for touch safety.

• Use notification-bar controls to Stop Overlay, Lock or Unlock the floating image, and return to its controls.

• While the overlay is unlocked, long-press an image to hide or show the toolbar and window controls. The image remains visible.

• Restore Last Image Overlay with its previous position, size, rotation, and opacity.

GIF behavior can vary with device performance, file size, frame rate, and encoding.

TELEPROMPTER MODE

Share text from another app to FloatPicTxt and it will prefill the teleprompter. You can edit the text and choose Start teleprompter when you are ready; sharing text does not start the teleprompter automatically. You can also type or paste a script directly.

• Choose Scroll or Paging display mode.

• Use Auto prompt with a short countdown, or switch to Manual prompt and scroll by hand.

• Pause, Resume, and Restart your script whenever needed.

• Adjust Scroll speed, Font size, Line spacing, Opacity, and Text color.

• Resize and reposition the teleprompter window, and rotate it with Rotate 90 degrees controls.

• Enable Auto rotate so text orientation follows device rotation.

• Turn on Loop scroll for repeated practice.

• Use the lock control to let touches pass through to apps underneath, then Unlock from the notification when needed.

• Restore Last Teleprompter Text together with its saved settings.

The script is shown as an overlay and will not appear in your camera video. Screen recording and screen sharing may capture it.

• After the trial, a one-time purchase is required to keep using the app.

PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS

• Images and scripts are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to a developer server.

• Purchases are processed by Google Play.

• Display over other apps is required for floating image and teleprompter overlays.

• Notifications are required for persistent overlay controls. Android 13 or newer may request notification permission.

• Ignore battery optimization is optional and may improve background reliability.

Some apps or screens may block overlays for security reasons, including banking apps or system permission screens. You control the overlay and can close it at any time.
