Garass

Garass was initiated to integrate technology that is an ultimate theme in our everyday life to fight off unwelcome advances from harassers. Garass established its mobile application to make it easier for users to report incidents on the spot as they happen.

Users can report incident of harassment by pressing on the report button to take a picture of the harasser making it easier for everyone in the Garass community to know the person and the location of the incident. This is in addition to a feature that allows the user to send an alarm to several friends or family members who will be notified that the user is in need of their help. This is very useful as people get warned that a certain area involves a lot of harassment and others in the same location can help out a harassed person when they get the alert.
