Student attendance data at the Indramayu State Polytechnic, currently still using manuals, this system has the potential to cause problems in the form of data present on paper not in accordance with the number of students present in class and can be manipulated by the students themselves. As a solution, the design of a student attendance system using Android-based geofencing and fingerprint authentication as a security when presenting, in order to prevent polindra students outside of the current class area can leave their presence with a friend once. From the results of the design of this system produces a paperless system and prevents manipulation of data presence.
