Gazeta das Caldas

Our work, in fact, analyzes the question of the relationship between the press and power. It does so, as we said, from a historical perspective and based on a case study. This is Gazeta das Caldas, a regional periodical, published in Caldas da Rainha, whose publication began in 1925. What we intend to do is integrate the newspaper in the medium in which it is articulated, so that we can understand its relations with the different Power, especially with those at the local level, but never forgetting the national situation.
