Guide for Smarthings app

SmartThings Allows you to Connect All Your Smart Devices To Each Other With One Click.

This App allows its users to monitor and control their domestic affairs even when they are out of their home.

You can also connect your hub via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

First, make sure that the Smart Things app is installed on your phone and that you are connected to a Samsung account.

To add your Smart Things hub, tap Add device.

Tap here to Add a device manually.

Next, tap Wi-Fi / Hub and select the Smart Things Hub showing the model number of your device, which you can find on your device.

If prompted, enable cloud control.

Tap Next to add the device to your Home.

For automations based on weather, time zone and presence, you must define your geolocation.

Tap the map, set your location and select Done. Then tap on Next.

Choose whether you want to connect your hub via Wi-Fi or via Ethernet.

Take the supplied power cable and connect the hub to a power source.

Tap on Next.

Wait for the LED on the front of the hub to flash red and green, then press Next.

To register your hub, tap Next.

Using the camera on your mobile device, scan the QR code located on the bottom of the hub.

Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the network password.

Wait a few moments for your hub to connect and download the available updates.

Tap Done.

Now you can start connecting your smart devices and creating Automations!
