Higa App

The Higa app brings the Hildegardisschule Bingen school portal to smartphones and tablets. Timetables, substitute teachers, school events, and announcements are always up-to-date.

Students can view their timetable, substitute teacher information, test and assignment dates, absences, and a list of teachers. They can chat with classmates and teachers, find materials and submit assignments in the learning environment, read school announcements, participate in video conferences, and access the resource pool.

Parents receive letters digitally and can confirm them directly in the app, view their child's timetable and substitute teacher information, keep track of absences, and stay informed about all school events.

Teachers maintain class and course registers, record absences, chat with classes, courses, and colleagues, upload materials to the learning environment, and reserve rooms and equipment.

Push notifications are sent for substitute teacher changes, timetable updates, new chat messages, parent letters, and new materials in the learning environment. Each type of notification can be individually disabled in the settings.

Parents receive notifications via push notification for substitutions, timetable changes, new chat messages, parent letters, and new materials in the learning environment. Multiple accounts, for example for siblings, can be used in one app. Files and photos can be shared directly from other apps to the portal, and there are light and dark themes available.

Login is done using the school portal credentials. The app is only available to students, parents, and teachers of the Hildegardisschule Bingen.
