MWS App

The MWS app brings the Maria Ward School Mainz online portal to your smartphone and tablet. Timetables, substitute teachers, school events, and announcements are always up-to-date.

Students can view their timetable, substitute teacher information, test and assignment dates, absences, and a list of teachers. They can chat with classmates and teachers, find materials, submit assignments in the learning environment, read school announcements, participate in video conferences, and access their student ID digitally.

Parents receive letters digitally and can confirm them directly in the app, view their child's timetable and substitute teacher information, keep track of absences, see all school events, and chat with teachers.

Teachers maintain class and course registers, record absences, chat with classes, courses, and colleagues, send announcements and parent letters, and upload materials to the learning environment.

Push notifications are sent for substitute teacher changes, timetable updates, new chat messages, parent letters, and new materials in the learning environment. Each type of feature can be individually disabled in the settings.

Multiple accounts, for example for siblings, can be used in one app. Files and photos can be shared directly from other apps to the portal, and there is a light and a dark theme.

Login is done using the school portal credentials. The app is only available to students, parents, and teachers of the Maria Ward School in Mainz.
