In choosing your colours, choose colours that complement your furniture instead of compete with them. For the sleeping area you may want to consider lavender or pink, blue or light green as these colours are great for relaxation, green does well for thinking and colours like red tend to add life. However, whichever colour you choose, go for the more neutral shade as bright colours can be rather terrifying.
