HUSHH

Hushh is a sleep-sound app built for one moment: you are already in bed,

the lights are off, you want something to lull you under. No menus, no

sign-in, no glow.

**Six ambient sounds, free.**

Rain. Brown noise. Fan. River. Fire. Café. Each one looped seamlessly,

generated to be smooth and low-fatigue. Tap a tile. It plays. That's the

entire interaction.

**The screen goes dark.**

Five seconds after you press play, Hushh dims its palette and lowers

your phone's brightness on its own. Nothing pulses. Nothing flashes.

Touch the screen to bring brightness back; five seconds later it dims

again. This single design choice is the whole reason Hushh exists.

**A sleep timer that fades.**

Default 30 minutes, adjustable down to 5 and up to 8 hours. When the

timer runs out, audio fades over 4, 8, or 15 seconds (your pick), then

stops cleanly. No abrupt cut.

**Volume memory per sound.**

You set rain to 35 % and fire to 60 % once. Hushh remembers — every time

you pick that sound, it comes back at the volume you left it.

**Calls and headphones, handled.**

Phone rings: Hushh pauses, then resumes when the call ends. Headphones

get unplugged in your sleep: Hushh pauses, so it doesn't suddenly blast

through the phone speaker. Set-and-forget.

**Hushh Pro — one-time, ~$4.**

Unlocks 18 more sounds (thunder, ocean waves, forest, wind, night

insects, heartbeat, train, subway, library, laundromat, temple bells,

piano drone, lofi beats, mountain stream, distant thunder, fireplace,

white noise, waterfall) and the **3-channel mixer** — layer up to three

sounds at independent volumes (rain under a fan under a river). Pro

also removes the banner ad on the home and settings screens. Pay once,

keep forever, no subscription.

**Offline. Private.**

Every sound is bundled with the app. Hushh never streams audio, never

calls a server, never asks for an account. Open it on a plane, in a

basement, on the slowest Wi-Fi — it just works.

**Background playback.**

Lock your phone. Audio keeps going through a media-style foreground

notification, with the standard Pause control on your lock screen.

**Settings, on purpose, are short.**

- Default timer (set once, applies to every session).

- Fade-out length: 4 s, 8 s, or 15 s.

- "Keep screen visible" — turn auto-dim off if you'd rather it stay.

- Notifications: opens system settings for the lock-screen control.

**Ads, briefly.**

Free Hushh shows a small banner on the home and settings screens. **Never**

on the player, the timer countdown, the sleep-well overlay, or the mixer.

Pro removes the banner everywhere.
