This Informatics student book can be completed well, and hopefully it can be used by Class Class X Informatics, or advanced studies that will require a lot of computing or engineering.

It cannot be denied that in the current era of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0, all fields will come into contact with computers. The pandemic that hit the world in 2020 made us increasingly face a VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) world. The experience of facing a pandemic with all citizens of the world has made us realize that humans are increasingly dependent on online communication, which requires digital literacy skills in communicating and collaborating to solve increasingly complex problems, in a global, safe and comfortable digital world.

Apart from problem solving and technical skills, issues regarding privacy and security increasingly require critical thinking. However, digital literacy, especially ICT alone, is not enough. More creators of computational products are needed which are much needed in the future. Therefore, with the demographic bonus that is occurring, Indonesian students, through their knowledge and skills in Informatics, are expected to contribute more to the world, including computational work in whatever field of study they choose to pursue.

Apart from becoming increasingly dependent on applications and computing systems, people today are increasingly aware of the problems that occur as a result of the application of technology, not just information and communication technology. Global citizens are increasingly concerned about the safety of themselves and others when using technology.

Finally, the author hopes that this student book can provide benefits and can be used as a companion for studying Informatics as well as possible. The author really hopes for suggestions and constructive criticism to improve the writing of the book further.

Hopefully this application can be useful and become a loyal friend in the teaching and learning process at all times.
