INS BLE CONFIG is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) configuration application designed to communicate with ESP32-based reader devices. The app enables users to connect to compatible ESP32 readers using a mobile phone and perform configuration and firmware update tasks efficiently and securely.

The application is intended for device setup, configuration, and maintenance purposes. It works primarily in offline mode and performs all communication locally between the mobile device and the ESP32 reader.

Firmware Update (OTA)

INS BLE CONFIG allows users to update the firmware of ESP32 readers directly from their mobile device. Users can select the firmware file from the device storage using the file manager, and the application transfers the firmware to the reader via Bluetooth.

All firmware update operations are performed locally between the mobile device and the ESP32 reader without uploading data to any external servers.

Permissions Usage

The application may request the following permissions to function correctly:

• Bluetooth / Bluetooth Low Energy – Required to discover, connect, and communicate with ESP32 reader devices.

• File Access / Storage – Required to allow users to select firmware (OTA) files from the device for updating the reader.

These permissions are used strictly for application functionality and not for collecting personal information.

Privacy & Data Safety

INS BLE CONFIG does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data. The app does not require user registration or login.

All communication occurs locally between the mobile device and the ESP32 reader. No user data or firmware files are transmitted to third-party services or remote servers.
