Lodeswarm Siphon

Top-down in a humus mine, drag a neon worm head to leave a slime trail that slowly pulls metal filings into a belly meter. Hit the weight goal to molt into denser fields; mud adds fake mass and can void a stage if the share grows too high. Blast eggs fail instantly; later repulsors force detours. Optional surge siphon speeds pulls but spawns more eggs. Fungal glow and root lace sell living magnetism over cold industrial magnets—for explorers who like path planning and efficiency bonuses. Shorter trails that still hit weight goals earn efficiency bonuses, rewarding cleaner siphon paths.
