Karkonosze

Giant Mountains - formerly known as the Giant Mountains. This name is a lot of truth, because it is the highest range of the Sudetenland and also the whole Czech stretches for 70 km in places reaching 20 km in width. Their border points to Szklarska Pass in the west and Lubawska Pass in the east, and the highest peak is Snow White, having a height of 1602 meters above the sea level

Giant Mountains are beautiful mountains cut by valleys, gorges and glacial kettles. Fans of the movie "The Chronicles of Narnia" will recognize Kamieńczyk Gorge, where among other things, were filmed images for this movie.

Giant Mountains are full of charming and climatic towns, of which the best known are: Szklarska Poreba - also called cycling capital of Polish, Karpacz - the town under Świeżką or Kowary famous tradition of mining uranium ore. The capital of the region is Jelenia Gora beautifully situated in a valley surrounded by mountains.

Histrorii lovers are invited to visit the beautiful castles and palaces situated on the trail of the Valley Parks and Palaces.

To explore the charming surroundings encourage Interested "Giant," which is the basis of the most interesting places of useful tourist. Here we can find plenty of activities, including those intended for the whole family, a base catering, accommodation, interesting sights and places of interest in terms of nature. Tourists can also refer to the teaching paths, leading through the most attractive areas and places.
