Kazimierz Dolny

The application was made as part of the project titled "Tourist guide to Kazimierz Dolny and the surrounding area, promoting local cultural, historical and natural heritage in the form of an application for mobile devices" from sub-measure 19.2 Support for the implementation of operations under the community-led local development strategy covered by the Rural Development Program for 2014-2020.

Kazimierz Dolny - Pearl of the Lublin region. Numbering approximately 2 thousand. The town welcomes over a million tourists annually, who are attracted by numerous monuments, a picturesque location on the banks of the Vistula, a network of loess gorges unique in Europe, and numerous cultural events and festivals.

With tourists in mind, an application has been created that will provide the necessary information about monuments - each of them described and located on a map, and events taking place in the town - to make it easier to plan your vacation and fill its time with attractions. First of all, it will show what remains a mystery to many - how beautiful and unknown places can be visited by going beyond the very center of Kazimierz. Thanks to dozens of hiking and cycling routes, you will discover amazing castles, churches, palaces, loess gorges and breathtaking viewpoints. The routes are described in detail, and thanks to GPS location you can check at any time whether you are on the right path.
