KPL 2024

The Karnataka Golf Association Premier League (KPL) is the first of its kind among golf clubs in South India. 24 teams, each helmed by a team owner, and comprising 18 players – selected equitably from a pick, draft and auction process compete in this event. Consequently, 432 playing members of KGA drawn from three handicap categories play in this marquee event over a period of one month.

The KPL has three qualifying rounds in different doubles formats played over three consecutive weeks (on Fridays and Saturdays). Each team builds up its points over these three rounds and the top 10 teams at the end of three rounds qualify for the final round.

The KPL is one of the most exciting events in the KGA annual tournament calendar and captures the spirit and excitement of KGA like no other. The club is abuzz with team meetings, practice rounds, strategy discussions, fellowship and a carnival atmosphere.
