The Kasyifatus Saja Book is one of several books that supports the Safinatun Najah book. This book was written by a great Indonesian scholar, namely Shaykh Muhammad Nawawi bin Umar Al-Jawi Al-Bantani. He was a scholar and intellectual who was very productive in writing books. Born in Tanara, Serang, 1230 H/1813 AD and died in Mecca, Hijaz, 1314 H/1897 AD. This book is a sharah from the book Safinatun Naja written by Shaykh Salim bin Abdullah bin Sumair al Hadhrami.

Like Safinatun Naja's Matanya book, this book discusses the contents of the book extensively, including discussions about faith and Islam in the description of monotheism. He also reviews fiqh discussions such as thaharah, zakat prayers and fasting in very detail and according to his Matanya book he does not discuss the Hajj.

Kasyifatus Saja ala Safinatin Naja (removing the veil of darkness with syarah (explanation) of the Safinah book). This book of sharia is the largest and most extensive of the others, filled with basic and fundamental fiqh issues.

This book has become one of the popular books in the field of fiqh, especially among santri and madrasa students who have studied the Safinah book. So it is not uncommon for many Islamic boarding school and madrasah institutions to use this book as a companion to the mandatory study of the Safinatun Naja Book.
