Initially, the band who was born on the campus of Padjadjaran University began to pursue a career from underground stages since 1989. Pas Band was officially established in 1990. In 1993 a group consisting of Bengbeng (guitar), Trisno (Bass), Yukie (vocals) and Richard Mutter (drums) released the indie labeled EP album with debut, Four Through The Sap.

Starting from the second album In (No) Sensation (1995) until now, they are coupled by Aquarius Musikindo. This label frees them to work. Although they could not embrace everyone through their unusual music, they began to build a loyal mass base with the path they chose.

This second album was followed by their next albums, namely indieVduality (1997), Psycho I.D (1998). On the fourth album, Richard resigned and his position was replaced by Sandy (ex-U'Camp) [1]. With the formation without Richard, they released their fifth album titled When (2001), but Sandy has not been able to play on the recording of this album because it is still under contract with another label. Sandy, who is currently a broadcaster on I-Radio 89.6 FM, joined the sixth album PAS 2.0 (2003), and the seventh album Stairway to Seventh (2004). Two years later, Pas Band released the best album containing 3 new songs Permata Yang Gilang, Romeo & Juliet, and Gladiator and 9 old hits.
