LiveGPS Travel Tracker

Live GPS Travel Tracker is an app for recording and preserving your journeys.

Start a trip and the app will record a detailed GPS track of where you go. Your route stays on the map, while photos and waypoints created during the trip are linked to the places where they were recorded.

Later, you can open the journey again and remember not only the cities and roads you traveled through, but also individual streets, stops, viewpoints, and the places where your photos were taken.

Your route and photos on one map

While you travel, the app can:

• take photos linked to your current location;

• create waypoints and add names and detailed descriptions;

• preview photos directly on the route map;

• show distance traveled, travel time, and speed;

• display trip statistics and charts.

Your saved journeys remain available in the app, so you can return to previous routes whenever you want.

Works offline

A permanent internet connection is not required to record a GPS track. The app can continue recording your route while offline.

Internet access is only needed to send tracks, photos, and waypoints to LiveGPSTracks. You can use mobile data, Wi-Fi, or any other internet connection available on your Android device.

Save your journeys with LiveGPSTracks

When you use a LiveGPSTracks account, the app can automatically upload your journey data to the service.

Uploads can be configured by time, distance, or accumulated track size. You can also send the data manually—for example, after connecting to Wi-Fi.

Journeys saved in LiveGPSTracks can also be opened through the web service and viewed on a computer or another device.

Share your journeys

You can share a link to a journey with friends and family through a messenger, email, social network, or any other convenient way.

The recipient does not need to install Live GPS Travel Tracker. The journey can be viewed directly in a web browser.

Live GPS Travel Tracker is designed for recording your own journeys.

The app is not intended for covert tracking, employee monitoring, vehicle monitoring, or tracking other people, and it is not a real-time monitoring system.

When location recording is running in the background, Android displays the corresponding notification and status icon. The app does not perform hidden location tracking.

Do not use the app for activities that violate the law or the rights of other people.

Location access

Access to your location, including background location access, is required for the app’s primary function: continuously recording a detailed travel route while the screen is off or while you are using another app.
