The protagonist of the book A Divina Comédia is the poet Dante Alighieri himself who travels between three completely different instances: Hell, Purgatory and Paradise. The odyssey is extremely descriptive and includes lots of visual details.

Beatriz, the inspirational muse who was Dante's platonic passion during her adolescence, performs the accompanying work. Beatriz is a symbol of divine love and is responsible for guiding the poet out of the jungle.

Divine Comedy is basically the story of a sinner's conversion to God's way.
