With the help of Bluetooth Low Energy beacons, the newest location sensor technology, Lucy allows you to keep track of your dog using your smartphone and find it in no time when it goes missing. In case the dog wanders out of the reach of your phone, other people with the Lucy app installed are also taking part in the search. Their phones automatically become part of a crowd-searching network that alerts you when your dog is sighted. You can ask your family, friends, neighbors or colleagues to install the Lucy app and help you find your missing dog. They don't have to do anything more, their smartphone automatically searches for your dog. Don't worry about privacy. Although all the phones in your neighbourhood having the Lucy app installed search for your dog, only you and appointed guardians are informed about the dog's location.
