#luvGems

Jewelry, and other physical items, all have stories and histories. These items have a hard time communicating their interesting tales and adventures. #luvGems was created to give jewelry a way to preserve their history: who first owned this necklace, what outfits they wore along with the piece, where they have been, who they gifted it to, and so on, and so on. We want to make it fun and easy for people to share their stories, through #luvGems jewelry.

The #luvGems app is your digital gembox. With this app, you can add new gems to your collection, share your pictures with others — and see pictures taken by others with their own gems!

#luvGems is centred around Instagram and users are required to have an Instagram account. We automatically catalog photos you post with our special hashtags and publish them to others within the #luvGems community.

NOTE: Users who log in to Instagram via Facebook must set an explicit password on your Instagram account. Here are the required steps:

1. In Instagram, go to your Profile page (right-most icon)

2. Click the vertical dots button (︙) in the upper-right to open the Options page.

3. Click on "Change Password"

4. Leave the "Current Password" blank, provide a new password and re-enter in the confirmation.

5. Click "Save".
