About MPC

An MPD client with a difference.

MPC is an open source client for MPD (Music Player Daemon) music servers. It allows you to play the music stored on your MPD server but with a difference. Rather than the usual mode of creating a playlist and then playing that playlist MPC allows you to browse your music by song, artist or album and handles the playlists itself.

Aesthetically MPC aims for a minimalist experience whilst still containing all the necessary features of a client. (Including recently added volume control through device volume buttons).

- VOLUME CONTROL! Use your phone's volume buttons to change MPD's volume while the app is open.
- UI overhaul mainly around changing to a proper tab implementation. Should run faster, look nicer and be compatible with more devices.
- Soft settings button added
- Click current tab to return to top level navigation
- Bug fixes

NOTE:Password support for MPD access is not planned because it is insecure. However please request this feature if it is important to you and I will implement it.
