Schloss App

The Schloss app brings the school portal of the Schloss-Gymnasium Mainz to smartphones and tablets. Timetables, substitute teachers, dates, and school announcements are always up-to-date.

Students can see their timetable, substitute teachers, test and assignment dates, absences, and a list of teachers. They can also read school announcements.

Parents receive letters digitally and can confirm them directly in the app, view their child's timetable and substitute teachers, keep track of absences, and stay informed about all school dates.

Teachers can manage class and course registers, record absences, chat with classes, courses, and colleagues, send announcements and parent letters, and reserve rooms and equipment.

Push notifications are sent for substitute teachers, timetable changes, new chat messages, and parent letters. Each type of notification can be individually disabled in the settings.

Multiple accounts, for example, for siblings, can be used in one app. Files and photos can be shared directly from other apps to the portal, and there are light and dark themes available.

Registration is done using the login details for the school portal. The app is only for use by students, parents, and teachers of the Schloss-Gymnasium Mainz.
