What is the New Testament?

The New Testament is the new and definitive covenant that God concluded with men through his son Jesus Christ. It is the collection of books that constitute the second part of the Holy Bible. It is explicitly addressed to Christians and was written after the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. Together with the books of the Old Testament, they constitute the Holy Scriptures.
