One Degree App

One Degree is a social networking application designed for (but not limited to) entrepreneurs and business professionals

It is TRUE social media in that it encourages users to go out into the world and meet people face-to-face instead of communicating from home

The platform is designed to facilitate the creation of NEW business and personal relationships, in contrast to existing products that promote stagnant interaction with old friends and family members

How does it work?

One Degree uses patent pending, GPS-based technology to locate users’ position, measure their proximity to other users, and facilitate introductions

If two users happen to cross within 100 feet of each other, the respective users’ profiles become visible to each other

The users then have the ability to “Reach Out” to one another with an invitation to connect via our internal messaging system

Additionally, if a user happens to encounter another user with a pre-selected industry of interest, the first user will receive a “Match Alert” informing them that they may be interested in connecting with said party for business purposes
