Orphaned Texts

This is a utility app intended for users who receive mangled text messages.

Do you receive odd text messages where you recognize that the last part of the message has already been sent to you before or just feels out of place? Your device may be suffering from a known Android bug (#28697) where the last part of an old message may replace the last part of a newly received message.

This app lets you view, export, and delete those text message parts from your device.

Please report any bugs on GitHub.

Display a toast notification with the number of deleted message parts. Verify that message parts are successfully deleted before clearing the list of displayed message parts.
