Panda HSK 2 - learn Mandarin Chinese

Welcome to Panda HSK!

I've been learning Mandarin for over five years and this is the application that I wish I had when I first started my journey with the Chinese language.

Over eight accessible levels, I've included all of the 150 HSK 2 words and phrases, such as:

- 公司 - gōng sī - a company

- 红 - hóng - red

- 教室 - jiào shì - classroom

- 觉得 - jué de - to think

- 咖啡 - kā fēi - coffee

- 课- kè - lesson

- 公共汽车 - gōng gòng qì chē - bus

- 孩子 - hái zi - child

And many, many more.

Learning Chinese presents some unique challenges that few other languages do. Not only do you need to remember the word's pronunciation (pinyin) and meaning, but also the Chinese character. That's why Panda HSK includes 3 useful study modes:

1. From English - the app presents you with a word in English and asks you to select the Chinese character and pinyin

2. From Characters - the app presents you with a Chinese character and asks you to select pinyin and the English meaning

3. From Pinyin - the app presents you with the word's pinyin and asks you to select the English meaning and the Chinese character

This way, you can easily learn all three important aspects of Chinese, at a pace best suited to your level and experience.

Advanced learners can create a tailor-made experience, for example, they can be tested on Chinese characters and Pinyin without the English definitions, or English and Chinese characters without pinyin. If you're just getting started with Chinese, starting with only English and pinyin, without the Chinese characters, is also possible.
