PE-20+

The PE-20+ app allows the estimation of the possible Lifetime Extension of wind turbines beyond their design life time. Based on the wind conditions used in the design of the turbine (from the type certificate) and the site conditions, the possible remaining life time is calculated for the major components tower, main frame and hub. With the app, it is possible to check approximately how many years of Lifetime Extension can be expected for a given wind turbine and how the different parameters affect the remaining life time of the components.

Caution: the calculation with the PE-20+ App cannot replace a detailed evaluation according to industry standards in the context of a survey report on the Lifetime Extension.
