PNB Sierra Leone – Temne Audio

General description

This APP enables you to report incidences of corruption and bribery in Sierra Leone directly to the Pay No Bribe Campaign from your personal phone. All you have to do is to download the APP to your phone and to answer the questions in the APP by pressing the answer of your choice. It is easy and anonymous.

The app is supported by audio in Temne to enable usage by illiterate users.

Pay No Bribe Sierra Leone

The Pay No Bribe Campaign is an innovative reporting mechanism for citizens to anonymously report incidents of petty corruption and bribery though PNB apps, the website or by calling a hotline phone number (515). It is designed to collect real time evidence on bribery and corruption in five key service sectors, Education, Electricity, Health, Police and Water and provides a useful database on petty corruption and bribery trends to support the work of the Anti-Corruption Commission of Sierra Leone

In keeping with the government’s commitment to tackle petty corruption and bribery in key service areas, the ACC will share data on corruption trends with relevant MDAs, which they in turn will use to address corruption at source, through administrative action or systems reforms.

The ACC will regularly publish data on citizen reports of bribery and petty corruption and actions taken by MDAs. Members of the public, media organisations, CSOs and other interested parties can access data on reports and actions taken via the PNB website, news papers, radio and ACC education and publicity campaigns.
