Zbigniew Herbert wrote letters-poems to his friends, to artists important to him, to people he valued (some of these letters were later in the poet's books and belong to the most intrusive and toughest of his works). This writer's gesture - a gesture of giving someone the autograph of a poem - is an inspiration for our action.
