About POTS
Population and Occupancy Tracking System
The Population and Occupancy Tracking System was created by the University of Connecticut's Computer Science and Engineering Senior Design Team 19. The system communicates with thermal cameras over WIFI and calculates the number of people in any supported facility in real time.
This app allows you to view any supported facility's current activity and daily trends to help you decide when the best time to visit the facility is. We predict that by giving users the ability to go to the facility at the least busy times we will auto-regulate the building and reduce wait times during the busiest times of the week.
