Project Skylar is designed to revolutionize the way emergency medical services (EMS) and fire departments access and utilize medical knowledge. With the goal of enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of paramedics and first responders, Project Skylar offers an AI assistant with resources tailored to meet the specific needs of each department.

Customized Medical Assistance

At the heart of Project Skylar is the commitment to provide customized medical assistance. The assistant adapts to the unique medical practices and geographical nuances of each department’s service area. Whether it's understanding local protocol nuances or accessing department-specific drug information, Skylar ensures that all information is accurate, relevant, and immediately accessible.

Advanced Protocol Support

Project Skylar simplifies the complexity of medical protocols and guidelines. The assistant provides instant access to a comprehensive database of protocols, which can be customized and updated according to the latest medical standards and local requirements. This feature not only saves valuable time during critical interventions but also helps in maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Accurate Dosage Calculations

With its built-in dosage knowledge, Project Skylar assists paramedics in calculating the correct medicine dosages quickly and accurately. The assistant includes support for identifying potential drug contraindications and suggests alternative medications, thereby enhancing patient safety and care.

Secure Interaction Logging

To help leadership teams monitor and evaluate the tool’s effectiveness, Project Skylar logs every dose and suggestion with the assistant. This data provides invaluable insights into how the app is being used in the field, which in turn helps in refining training programs and improving the assistants functionality.

User-Friendly Design

Understanding the pressures faced by EMS and fire department personnel, Project Skylar is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, even in the most stressful situations. The interface is clean, responsive, and accessible, ensuring that paramedics can get the information they need without unnecessary delays.
