Project Z Runner – the story

It is the year 3088. A group of Earth galactic explorers venture out “through the wormhole” into the unknown and stumble upon another planet uncannily resembling the Earth in the 21st century. Curious, the explorers set up a camp to observe the inhabitants and indigenous species of this new alien planet. At first the alien world and its inhabitants seem harmless and peaceful, but then they start exhibiting a peculiar behavior. Every time the explorers communicate with them, the inhabitants seem compelled to make physical contact. What's more, the exposed explorers start exhibiting the same behavior accompanied by disturbing fits of rage that gradually turn them into violent and destructive zombie-like monsters. Panic kicks in and the remaining explorers set up a quarantine facility where they perform scientific experiments to find the cure. The research team discovers that the alien planet actually is the Earth from the 21st century under a zombie invasion. Infected victims become telepathically controlled by the supreme alien beings who took over the planet. The infection is spread by touch and leads to DNA mutations. The fight for Survival begins! The explorers' research team develop a vaccine. The final phase of mass production must be done in their spacecraft but the infected zombie-like earthlings are in the way. A single military Z Protector embarks on a “rescue mission” to take the vaccine formula to the explorers' spacecraft.

With impending doom looming at his back the brave runner Z runs for the freedom of mankind! And so, the chase begins...
