About Push To Display - Live Screen
Send content to device screen via HTTP POST, CLI, MCP Server and GitHub Actions.
Push To Display turns any device into a programmable shared display board. Send structured content through a simple HTTP API, CLI, or GitHub Action and see it rendered on your display board in real time.
WHAT IT DOES
Create display boards, bind devices, issue API keys, and send content payloads via API, CLI, MCP or GitHub Action. The app receives and renders those payloads with display-focused layouts and panel-specific targeting.
FOUR DISPLAY LAYOUT PRESETS
• Full Screen — one message fills the entire display board
• Stacked (Top + Bottom) — two horizontal display panels
• Side by Side (Left + Right) — two vertical display panels
• 2x2 Grid — four display panels for multi-stream content
PANEL-TARGETED ROUTING
Updates can target specific display panels (1–4) so one region updates without replacing the entire display board.
MULTIPLE INTEGRATION CHANNELS
• HTTP API — one endpoint, structured payloads, instant delivery to display boards
• CLI (pushtodisplay) — send from terminal, pipe scripts, manage display boards from command line
• GitHub Action — push deployment status, build results, and alerts to display boards from CI/CD
• MCP Server — AI agents and coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) can send updates and manage display boards natively
WHO USES PUSH TO DISPLAY
• AI agent and coding agent operators — route agent outputs to visible display boards
• DevOps and engineering teams — CI/CD status walls, deployment dashboard displays
• Operations teams — on-call room display boards, queue status boards
• IT managers — shared awareness display boards across offices
• Manufacturing — shop-floor display boards for line status and alerts
• Healthcare — clinic guidance display boards, queue flow, room readiness
• Event teams — real-time digital signage fed by automation tools
HOW PUSH TO DISPLAY WORKS
1. Sign in — your first display board is created and device bound automatically
2. Try the web playground to send your first update to the display board — no code needed
3. For automation, push via API, CLI, MCP, or GitHub Action
4. Content appears on the display board in real time
BUILT FOR AUTOMATION AND AI AGENTS
Push To Display is API-first and agentic-ready. Integrate display boards with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, or any system that can make HTTP requests. Use the CLI to pipe scripts and automate from the terminal. Connect AI agents — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or any MCP-compatible agent — through the built-in MCP (Model Context Protocol) server so they can send updates, manage display boards, and route content to specific panels without custom glue code. Structured payloads support text blocks with display options: alignment, text size, weight, color, and background styling.
KIOSK MODE
Lock the display and hide the settings button. The screen shows only your display board content — no navigation, no exit. Perfect for unattended display boards in lobbies, shop floors, and event spaces.
REAL-TIME DISPLAY DELIVERY
Messages arrive on display boards instantly via WebSocket. No polling. No delays. Display board content updates the moment your API call completes.
INTEGRATIONS (COMING SOON)
• n8n node for workflow automation
• Zapier connector for no-code display updates
• Power Platform connector for enterprise display boards
