SafeSpot
About SafeSpot
Take your SafeSpot with you everywhere you go
SafeSpot draws the attention of people who care about you at times of need, and makes it easier for them to find you.
For further details, refer to the Help section available under the app's Menu button.
Create response groups based on locations you visit frequently, and add people who care about you to each group. Whenever you don't feel safe, start SafeSpot. Make sure your GPS is enabled, and select a response group.
Drag the spot upwards and hold it there as long as you don't feel safe. When the spot is active it is surrounded by a circle. Drag the spot back down to deactivate it.
If for some reason you let go, all response group members get a text message that lets them know you need them. This message contains a link showing your location on Google Maps, to make it easier for them to find you.
Suggest SafeSpot to everyone in your response groups. They don't ever have to use it themselves, but if they have SafeSpot installed, your distress signal will start an alarm on their phone, and let them view your location at the touch of a button.
