www.secondamano.it is the evolution of the web of historical paper version of Secondamano, the first free classifieds newspaper in Europe was born in Milan in 1977.

The story of Secondamano

Second-it was the first newspaper classifieds in Europe and the first publication occurred March 31, 1977 in Milan, edited by Franco Giuffrida, founder of Secondamano with Luciano Cervone.

Since 1977, Secondamano became the model for the development of free ads paper throughout Italy, Europe and South America. Founded as a fortnightly magazine, the Milan edition of Secondamano became first weekly and later biweekly, with about 96 pages and 10,000 ads a day.

In 1990 it was launched Smart, a magazine of free Escort, initially distributed as a free supplement to Secondamano and, by the end of 1995, for sale on a monthly basis in all Italian newsstands with 35,000 copies sold per edition.

In 1997 Secondamano put online your own website, thus increasing the range of services available to its users and integrating those already offered by the group tested.

In 2009, after 12 years of experience in multinational environment, Secondamano back in the hands of Italian entrepreneurs publishers of major newspapers, who organize the revival. In 2016 it was acquired by S.I.
