Signal Tracker: Hidden Camera

Signal Tracker: Hidden Camera is your comprehensive privacy and signal diagnostic suite designed to help scan for suspicious devices, potential hidden cameras, audio anomalies, wireless transmitters, and electromagnetic fields (EMF) using your smartphone's built-in sensors.

Staying at a hotel, Airbnb, vacation rental, or changing room? Signal Tracker equips your mobile device with multi-sensor assistive scanning tools to help inspect and analyze your surroundings. Switch easily between Simple Mode for quick one-tap scans and Expert Mode for detailed RF spectrums and network topology.

COMPREHENSIVE PRIVACY & SIGNAL SCANNING

==================================

1. Optical Lens & Camera Visor

• Uses your camera viewfinder and flashlight illumination to help reveal optical retro-reflections glinting from potential camera lenses in dim lighting.

• Methodically inspect pinhole lenses that could be concealed inside smoke detectors, electrical outlets, wall clocks, and mirrors.

2. Audio Bug & Acoustic Anomaly Scanner

• Measures ambient noise and decibel (dB) levels in real time using your phone's microphone.

• Analyze live audio waveforms and peak decibel (Peak dB) anomalies to help identify unusual acoustic patterns and suspicious audio activity.

3. Network Device & IP Camera Scanner

• Scan your local Wi-Fi subnet to inspect connected hardware, suspicious IP cameras, wireless monitors, and unknown local devices.

• Scan for open RTSP, ONVIF, and video streaming ports (554, 8554, 8899) commonly used by network cameras and streaming devices.

• Displays device IP, MAC addresses, and vendor (OUI) identification.

4. Magnetic EMF Signal Scanner

• Uses your phone's built-in magnetometer (compass sensor) to measure magnetic fields in microteslas (µT) emitted by electronic equipment and suspicious wiring.

• Geiger-counter style audio clicks, animated analog gauge, and haptic vibration feedback to assist in locating magnetic field sources.

• Set customizable threshold alarms for high electromagnetic radiation areas.

5. Bluetooth (BLE) Tracker & Beacon Scanner

• Scan for nearby active Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) transmitters, unknown beacons, and tracking tags.

• Dynamic RSSI signal indicators provide proximity awareness to help isolate unknown tracking hardware.

6. Wi-Fi Coverage Heatmap & Channel Analyzer

• Walk through your premises to map Wi-Fi coverage room by room, identifying unknown access points and signal dead zones.

• Channel Analyzer identifies optimal router frequencies free from interference.

7. Physical Security Audit Checklist & PDF Reports

• Step-by-step physical inspection guide for mirrors, power sockets, smoke alarms, and air vents in rentals and hotels.

• Export comprehensive security audits, peak EMF values, and connected device lists as formatted PDF reports.

PRACTICAL USE CASES

==================================

• Travel & Lodging: Inspect hotel rooms and vacation rentals to check for suspicious devices, pinhole lenses, and unusual audio activity.

• Home & Rentals: Verify personal privacy when moving into a new home or apartment.

• Office & Boardrooms: Sweep meeting rooms for suspicious audio devices and rogue wireless connections.

HARDWARE TRANSPARENCY & DISCLAIMER:

Signal Tracker utilizes standard on-device sensors (camera torch, magnetometer, microphone, Wi-Fi radio). It does not measure nuclear radiation and cannot penetrate solid walls. All readings rely on optical, magnetic, and RF heuristics.

DISCLAIMER: This app is an assistive scanning tool. It does not guarantee 100% detection of all hidden devices and is not a replacement for professional security inspections.

PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS:

All detection algorithms run 100% locally on your smartphone. We never collect, store, or transmit your personal data.
