Smart Absens

Smart Absens is the official mobile app for employees using the Smart Absens attendance system. Log in with your company email (or Google sign-in where enabled), then check in and out, request leave, view reports, and sync your attendance with the backend—all from your phone.

KEY FEATURES

• Check-in & Check-out

Record attendance by selecting your work area, scanning a QR code, or using your location. Optional selfie and PIN support where configured by your organization. GPS-based areas ensure you are within the allowed zone.

• Offline support

No internet? No problem. Record check-in and check-out offline; the app stores it locally and syncs automatically when you are back online. You can also tap to sync pending attendance manually.

• Leave requests

Request time-off or leave directly from the app. View leave types and submit requests; your administrator manages approval in the Smart Absens web system.

• Attendance corrections

Need to fix a wrong check-in or check-out time? Submit a correction request with the correct time and location. Corrections are sent to the backend for approval.

• Reports & work summary

View your attendance history with date filters. See total work hours, overtime, late minutes, and early-out for payroll—all synced with the Laravel-based Smart Absens backend.

• Push notifications (optional)

Enable reminders for check-in and check-out so you never miss recording your attendance. Powered by Firebase Cloud Messaging when your organization has it configured.

• Security & integrity

The app uses real GPS when required; fake or mock location is detected and may block attendance for GPS-based areas. Login is secure with email/password or Google SSO where supported.

BACKEND & SYSTEM

Smart Absens mobile app is designed to work with the Smart Absens web platform (Laravel). Your company deploys the backend; you connect by logging in with your email and password. The app receives branding (logo, app name, colors) from the server so it can reflect your organization’s identity.
